VITHEREAS, there are now three vacancies existing on the &oa.rd of
Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the City Council by the: Mayor,
Robert Gla.ss, that the following na.med persons and residents of the City
of Paris, Lama.r County, Texas:: F. I. McClana.han, Carl Deweese, and
Hayden Stripla.nd, be, and they are hereby appointed as Members of the
Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Pa.ris,
for a term of two (2) years, beginning October 7, 1959; NaW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARLS,
That F. I. McClana.han, Carl Deweese, and Hayden S-tripland, be, arid they
are hereby appointed as Members of the Board of Commissioners ot the
Housing Authority of the City of Pa.ris, for a term of two (2) years,
beginning October 7, 1959.
