as Paris Fairyrounds to the Lamar Ccunty Fair ;;ssociation, Incorporated, and
which lessee is now the Red River Valley Exposition, Inc.; and,

negotiatin', the terms of its lease Gi-id 'nas requested that the lease be made
for a term of ten (10) years from the date or ,,pril 89 1959, with an option
to renew said lease for a term of an additional ten (10) years if said option
is exercised in vvritingy; and,
'11VHERE,1S, tne Red River Valley Exposition, Inc. has reuuested that it
be permitted to lease a portion of said grounds immediately ivrorth and West of
the Ccliseum 13uilding located on said Fairyround to the Paris Rcdec :.nd Hcrse
Club, Inc.; and$
WHERE:1S, tne Paris Rodeo and Horse Club, Inc. is desirous of leasing
said property from tne Red River Valley Exposition~ Inc.) and has requested
that said lease permit the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club, Inc. to remove from
sGid premises any rodeo or horse snow arenwhich it may construct tnereon,

Tdayor of the City of PGris be authorized and directed tc execute the afore.-
said lease with the Red River Valley Expcsition, Inc., for a term of ten (:LO)
years from April 89 1959, with Gn opticn at the end of said ten (10) years to
renew sUid leGse for Gn additional term of ten (10) years, and tn4t the Red
River Valley Exposition, Inc. is nereby authorized and directed to lease to
the Paris Rodec and Horse Club, lnc. the aforesaid portion of said fairgrounds
for a term of years aforesaid, qnd that it be perrnitted to include therein the
right of the Paris Rcdeo ,and Horse Club, Inc. to remove from the premises,
upon the termination of its lease, any rodeo Gnd horse show Grena which it may
have constructed thereon.
