• 0 kESOLUTION NQ. 829 ~ WHEREAS, the Fire Department of the City of Paris has requested that the City of Paris increase the City's participaticn in the Fire Department Retirement and Pension Fand from three per cent (3%) to five per cent (5%); and, ATEREASp the City is~and has been for some time, contributing five per cent (5%) tc the Policements Retirement and five and one-fourth per cent OW to the General Texas Municipal Retirement Fund of others of its em- ployees; NOYi, THEREFpRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COtINCIL GF THE CIIY OF PARIS, That the City increase its participation in the Fire Department Retirement and Pension Fund from three per cent (3%) tc five per cent (5%), and that money for the current year with which to make said increased participation be transferred from the Contingent Fund and deposited in a General Fund to the credit of .account No. 302-F-5 from which said participation shall be made, said in- crease in participation to become effective 7anuary 1, 1959.
