• • RESOLUTIGN NCi. 821 . WHEREAS, M. D. Iv1issov of Parist Lamar Countyv Texas, the contractor on Project No. 802-12-57, being the rehabilitation of the Water Treatment Plant of the City of Paris, has rea,uested an extension of time of eighty (80) calendar days, and which request recites the following reasons for the ne- cessity of the same being granted: 1. Twenty seven (27) week delivery of main electrical control panel for the Maxey plant, a delay of nine weeks. 2. Delay of completion of new 2,000,000 gal. ground re- servoir at the booster plant, by others. 3. Twenty two (22) week delivery of hydraulic gate valve parts in the old city plant, a delay of twelve weeks. 4. Excessive rain making the job site inaccessible for heavy equipment. 5. Peak surnmer loa ds on the city's water treating facilities limited the rate of progress in the rehabilitation work 6. tiuthorized work orders. AND ',NHEREAS, the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton hast by its letter dated Septe^ber 5, 1958, advised the City of Paris that the six factors ciaimed as unavoidable causes of delay have been substantially verified, and it recommends that such extension be granted, making the contract completion date August 18, 1958; PJOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RcSOLVED BY THE CITY G~)U?dCIL OF THE CIIY OF PARIS, That the completion time on the contract, Project No. 802-12-579 requested by M.
