Iv1issov of Parist Lamar Countyv Texas, the contractor on <br />Project No. 802-12-57, being the rehabilitation of the Water Treatment Plant <br />of the City of Paris, has rea,uested an extension of time of eighty (80) <br />calendar days, and which request recites the following reasons for the ne- <br />cessity of the same being granted: <br />1. Twenty seven (27) week delivery of main electrical <br />control panel for the Maxey plant, a delay of nine weeks. <br />2. Delay of completion of new 2,000,000 gal. ground re- <br />servoir at the booster plant, by others. <br />3. Twenty two (22) week delivery of hydraulic gate valve <br />parts in the old city plant, a delay of twelve weeks. <br />4. Excessive rain making the job site inaccessible for <br />heavy equipment. <br />5. Peak surnmer loa ds on the city's water treating facilities <br />limited the rate of progress in the rehabilitation work <br />6. tiuthorized work orders. <br />AND ',NHEREAS, the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton hast by its <br />letter dated Septe^ber 5, 1958, advised the City of Paris that the six factors <br />ciaimed as unavoidable causes of delay have been substantially verified, and <br />it recommends that such extension be granted, making the contract completion <br />date August 18, 1958; PJOVJ, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RcSOLVED BY THE CITY G~)U?dCIL OF THE CIIY OF PARIS, That the <br />completion time on the contract, Project No. 802-12-579 requested by M. D. <br />Misso, be, and the same is extended fer eighty (80) calendar days. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of Cctober, A.
