RESOLUTION AIO. 816 .
wHEREAS, the State Highway Depa rtment of the State of Texas has pro-
posed to the City of Paris to purchase some sandy loaaa on a tract of land in
the South West Corner of the Lake Crook property, in the City of Paris, and
which area is particUlarly described by metes and bounds on a plat attached
to a contract dated Septeasber 8, 19589 between the State Highway Departraent
and the City of Paris. That the amourrt proposed to be paid for the same is
five cents (5¢) per ccabic yard, payable as provided in said contract. That
said contract has a term of two (2) years provided therein; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
City Manager, Albert K. Steinheimer, be, and he is hereby authoriaed to enter
into a proposed contract with the State of Texas to permit it to remove sandy
loam from said area, and to pay therefor the sum of five cents (5~) per cubic
yard.
