covers several blocks and which sev,lage has been for sorne time overlo::ding the
line and bucking up into the nomes oi numerous persons living in the area,
und further, thGt tnere is f104V no -dequate sevaer line wfiich 4vould serve the
ruture develop;nent in thUt vicinity, Undp in particulur, the area purchased
in recent years by the Puris Independent School District, which area is known
as Johnson 14oods; ond,
';&iEREf,S, the City r47anager has recommended to the City Council that it
use lFrom its Revenue Bcnd Contingency and Improvement rund, the sum of
$315U0.001 to lay an adequate sewer line from a point beginning at a manhole
locUted at HubbUrd Street Und projected a shcrt dist:ance rroni 25th Street,
S. E., such line extending East and South and connecting with the present
and existing setiver line in the area known Us Jchnsen VJoods; THERErORE,
BE IT 1"ESOLVED EY THE CITY C'uUNCIL CF THE CITY LF P.'vRISp That the
building of such sewer line is necessary, and the City i:lanager~ ;;lbert K.
Steinheimer, is hereby authorized and directed to use from the Revenue Bond
Contingency and Improvement :und of the City of Paris, the sum of $3,50G.00,
for the censtruction of such sevaer line.
