797 RES CITY COUNCIL BY RES NO 784 AUTHORIZED CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH C&E REFRIGERATION CO• •
RESOLUTION N0. 797 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, by Resolution No.
7849 did authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract with the
C. & E. Refrigeration Company of Parist Texast which was in the amount of
$3,395.00 for the air conditioning of the Paris Public Library, upon which
there was paid by the Library Board the sum of $817.00 cash, and the Cityts
remaining portion of said contract is in the amount of $2,578.00, and it
was anticipated at the time of awarding said contract that the Cityls por-
tion of such contract be paid from the Contingent Fund which was provided
for in the Budget for the year 1957-58; NOW, THEREF(3RE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY QDUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF PAkIS t That the
City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to transfer the
City*s portion of said contract, in the amount of $22578.00, from the
Contingent Fundp and to use the same for the payment of the Cityts portion
of said contract.
