795 RES CITY COUNCIL ADVERTISED FOR BIDS

• • RESOLUTION N0. 795 . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore ad- vertised for bids for eighty-four (84) parking meter heads to be used on the North Side Parking Lot; and, WHEREAS, bids have been received from several bidders for such meter headsp and the Committeeg composed of Nathan J. Bellv 'Nilliam C. Ra9anp and Charlie R. Brownp and Albert K. Steinheimers City Managerg met on the lst day of Mayv 1958, to consider the bids received for the furnish- ing of said meter headsv and after consideration and deliberation, said Committee has recommended to the City Council of the City of Paris that the bid of Magee-Hale Park-O-Meter Company of Ulcbhoma Cityv Oklahoma,, to fur- nish eighty-four (84) single type parking meter headsg 1Vkidel G. together with twenty (20) yokes for the purpose of making double installation where required, which bid was in the amount of $3,977.40, less a discount of 3% which was allowed the City of Paris because it had in store certain parts required for the maintenance of such meter heads, be declared the lovuest and best bid and be accepted by the City of Paris; said meters to be de- livered as follows: Forty (40) meter heads to be delivered within ten (10) days and Forty-four (44) meter heads to be delivered on or about 0 ctober 1t 1958; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CAUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Magee-Hale Park-0 -Meter Company of Oklahoma Cityv Oklahomag be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the City Managerg Albert K. Steinheimer, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with said Magee-Hale Park-d -Meter Company under the terms and conditions of the specificationst bid proposal, and this resolution.
