RESOLUTION N0. / ~ .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore
authorized the construction of an eight inch (8") water pipe line across
the property and under the track of Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway
Company, located at 14P 152 plus 1092.0 feet, in the City of Paris, Lamar
County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has heretofore received from said
Railway Company its Secretaryts Contract No. 199310 under date of October
9, 19339 for the purpose of constriacting a six inch (611) water pipe line
crossing at the above Mile Post Station; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into a supplemental agreement
with the said Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company in order to rie-
place said six inch (611) water pipe line with an eight inch (811) water
pipe line; and,
WHEREAS, the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company has pre-
sented to the City Council of the City of Paris its supplemental agree-
ment providing for such license; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESO LVED BY THE CITY OOUNCI L OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
Mayor, James R. Gillt beg and he is hereby authorized to execute said
contract, and the Clerk of the City of Paris is hereby directed t4 recol.d,
following this resolution, said contract in the Minutes of the City Couricil
of the City of Paris.
