WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texas has heretofore undertaken the
extension of its water lines and water facilities; and,
WHEREAS, part of such extecasioa provides for a twenty-four incti
(24") water line frc>m 3rd Street, N. E., over a rotate to be iqcluded irk
the plans and specifications by the Engineering Firm of Forrest and
Cotton, and extending to the proposed new one ra3.llion gallon elevated
storage tank at 25th Street, N. E., in the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that this line be laid in order to
conneet the necessary water facilities with the elevated storage tank;
NO1N, THEREFDRE,
BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY QDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS „ That
the City uf Paris proceed w3.th theletting of such contract, and that th.e
City Manager, Albert K. Steiaheimer, be, and he is her*by autharized and
directed to advertise for and receive bids for said projact, the same to
be received at 7s00 o'clock P. M. on January 20, A. D., 1958, in the
Council Room, in the City Hall, in the City of Paris, Texas.
