WHEREAS, the term of office of the Library Board has now expired,
and the Mayor has recommended the re-appointment of Gilbert Cecil, Mrs.
Jess Alford, and Mrs. Carl McVJherter, Jr., to serve on said Library Boar(i
for a period of one year, beginning October 10, 1957, and has recommendecl
S. Ni. Wilbor, Luther A. Howerton, and H. IN. Norton, to serve on said
Library Board for a period of two years, beginning October 10, 1957, and

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That al:t
of said appointments be approved, and the City Council does hereby express
its appreciation and gratitude to all of the members of said Library Boa:rd
for their services in the past and for their willingness to continue in
such capacity.
