737 RES COP ENTERED INTO CONTRACT WITH STIMPSON CONTRACTING CO0

RESOLUTION NG. .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is heretofore entered into a contract
with the Stimpson Contracting Company for the installation of certain water
lines, mains, and connections by Project No. 803-3-57; and,
WHEREAS, the City has requested a change in some 3/4-inch service
transfers from the new water main to the metert including a corporation
at the new main, a curb stop at the meter, and a maximum of 30 linear feet
of 3/4-inch copper pipe, and fcr additionEl 3/4-inch copper pipe required
above the 30 feet allowed in each transf6x. Which items are in addition
to those provided for in the original Contract; and,
4'lHEREAS, the total cost for such additional items in $2,406.25; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Firm of :orrest and Cotton has prepared
and executed "Change Order No. 3" and have recommended that the City of
Paris enter into such change order; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that James R. Gill, blayor of the
City of Paris, be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into Change Orde.r
No. 3 with the Stirnpson Contracting Company.
