735 RES CITY MANAGER ASKED CITY COUNCIL FOR PERMISSION TO BUY NEW STREET SWEEPER
RESOLUTION N0. 73_ 5 .
WHEREAS, the City Manager asked the City Council of the City of'
Paris for permission to buy a new street sweeper; and,
WHEREAS9 it is his information to the City Council that the cost
of repair to the old sweeperl which is now being used by the City of Paris,
is beyond economy; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is of the opinicm
that the Street Department, in all probability, should have a new sweeper;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested authority from the City
Council to advertise for and receive bids on the trade-in basis for a riew
sweeper for the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFOREp
BE IT RESOLVFD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That i-he
City Manager be$ and he is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive
bids for a sweeper for the City of Paris2 using the old sweeper as a
trade-in on a new one.
