74IE-REAS, the City of Paris has heretofore entered into a bvritt:en
contract with i:icHone Construction Company te lay certain 30" water supply
line; and,
!'uHE_~LAS, it nas been necessary for the : ngineering 'Firm of Forrest
and Cotton to make certain variations in said contract; and,
lriI-iiRIEyS, the Engineeriny .=irm of Forrest and :;otton has recom:mended
Change Order No. 2, Item 1 of which is an increase for 6 air valve installa-
tions, in the total amount of $246.00, because the City of Paris had re-
quested the use of 2" rigid copper pipe and red brass fittinas; Item Afo. 2
of such e:ctra work order being fer realignnent of a creek channel near
Station No. 65 plus 00 was added to the contract, which increases the amount
of the contract in the amount of $68.75; NObV, THEqEFORr,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C.ITY COUNCIL Oc TI-iE CITY 0:= PARIS, That the
City of Paris enter into Change Order No. 2 presented by the Engineers and
the contractor, and that the original contract be revised in accordance
with Change Order No. 2.
