731 RES CITY COUNCIL ENTERED INTO LEASE AGREEMENTi ~

RESOLUTION N0. 731 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore
entered into a lease agreement with Sam Skidmore, dated May 25, A. D.p 1953p
covering a five year period from August 1, 1952 to and including July 31,
1957, covering certain porticns of Culbertson Park to be operated as a re-
creation and amusement center; and,
WHEREAS, the Lessee therein, Sam Skidmore, is desirous of leasing
the same premises again; and,
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been submitted to the City Council
of the City of Paris covering the period from August 1. 1957, and extending
for fifteen (15) months from August 1, 1957 and expiring on Qctober 31,
1958; and,
WHEREAS, the lease provides for payment af ten per cent (100 of the
gross receipts from any activity operated on said portion of Culbertson Park;
and,
6NHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is of the opinion
that it is desirous to enter into such lease; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY GF PARIS, That the
Mayor of the City of Parisp James R. Gill, be, and he is hereby authorized
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Paris the proposed lease for
the period of fifteen (15) months, beginning August 1, 1957 and ending
October,?ol, 1958.
