730 RES RAYFORD WALKER PETITIONED CITY COUNCIL TO FURNISH WATER TO AN AREA EAST OF COP• •
RESGLUTION N0. 730 e
WHEREAS, Rayford Walker has petitioned the City Council of the
City of Paris to furnish him water to an area East of the City Limits of
the City of Faris on Highway 82, where the Eastern Limits of the City of
Paris intersects with Highway 82; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, on the 15th day of March, 1954,
adopted a policy to be followed in furnishing water to petitioners who
reside outside the City Limits; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with such policy, Rayford Walker requests
that water be furnished to him at the City Limits on Highway 82, by the
City of Paris; NGW, THEREFORE,
BE IT HESOLVED BY THE CITY QOUNCIL OF THE CITY GF PARIS, That 'the
City of Paris furnish to Rayford Walker a water line to the East
Limits, where the same intersects Highway 82, East of Paris, and that
the meter be placed at the City Limits, and that he be permitted to tiie
on to the connection at such City Limits at his own expense. That ratias
paid for water used by the said Rayford Walker shall be double the rates
paid by citizens who reside within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, and that all of the expense of installation of lines and the
equipment outside the City Limits of the City, and all the expense of
maintenance of said lines shall be the responsibility of the said Rayford
Walker.
