728 RES ON 2ND DAY OF AUGUST 1947 CITY COUNCIL CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION~ • •
RESOLUTION N0. 728
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of August, A. D., 1957, the City Counc:il of
the City of Paris, Texas, was convened in Special Session at the City Hall
at Paris, Lamar County, Texas, with %9 ef- t_,e ,;,-m.rz
present; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has directed the Texas Power 8, Light
Company to make certain installations for additional lighting in Wade Park,
which park belongs to the City of Paris, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Power & Light Company has requested a right-
of-way to place and install a certain pole and guy; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That there
is hereby granted and given to the Texas Power & Light Company the herein-
after described right-of-way, and the Mayor of the City of Paris is hereby
given the authority to sign easement and right-of-way on City of Paris,
Texas, Property for the purpose of allowing the Texas Power & Light Cornpany
to install 1 pole and 1 guy at or near the locations and along the gen?ral
course now located and staked out by said Company over, across and upon the
following described lands located in Lamar County, Texas, to-wit:
Beginning at a Texas Power & Light Company's distribution angle
pole and attached guy at survey station 0 plus 00. Said pole
being located 300 ft., more or less, in an easterly direction
and 50 ft., more or less, in a northerly direction from the
southwest corner of the above described property.
Thence in a westerly direction for a distance of 150 ft., more
or less, to a Texas Power & Light Company's distribution angle
pole and attached guy at survey station 1 plus 50. Said guy
to extend in a westerly direction for a distance of 30 ft.9
more or less, to a Texas Power & Light Companyts guy anchorage.
Said pole to be located 150 ft., more or lessp in an easterly
direction and 50 ft., more or less, in a northerly direction
from the southwest corner of the above described property.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of August, A. D., 1957.

This description is based on a preliminary survey, and it is understood that sa.id Company may relocate
said line in the same general direction before or at any time after conatruction.

anchorages along the course of sa.id line, together with the right of ingress and egress for the purpose of con-
structing, improving, inspecting, maintaining, operating and removing said line and appurtenances ; the right
to relocate said line in the same relative position to any adjacent road if and when said road is widened in the
future, and the right at all times to cut away and keep clear of said line and appurtenances all trees and other
obstructions which, in the sole judgment of said Company, may endanger or interfere with the proper main-
tenance and operation of aaid line.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement and rights unto the said Company, its succes-
sors and asigna, until said line ahall be abandoned.
