RESOLUTION N0. 72r.
WHEREAS, McHone Construction Company was the successful bidder in
Water Supply Line, Project No. 802-3A-57; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor entered into a contract with a time litnit
of 100 consecutive calendar days which expired July 309 1957; andt
WHEREAS, several weeks of the time included in the 100 consecutive
calendar days was incleraent and rainy weather, which delayed the beginiling
of the construction; andp
WHEREASg the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton has' by letter
dated July 309 1957, recommended that the time for the completion of such
project be extended for an additional thirty (30) days, beginning July 31,
1957; andt
WI-EREAS9 the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the ad-
vantage of the City of Paris and to the contractor that such time be ex-
tended; NOW, THEREFORE9
BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That -the
time for the completion of said Project No. 802-3A-57 beg and the same is
hereby extended an additional thirty (30) days, beginning July 31, 1957.
