RESOLtTTION N0. 722 .
WHEtEAS, the City of Paris has for some ti.me been interested in
the development of a lake on Sanders Creek to the North oP the City of
Paris, and the development oP Big Pine and Colliers Creeka; and,
WfiEREAS, the development of such lake and vater storage areas
vould be to the future benefit and welfare of the City of Paris; and,
Wf~.'REAS, the Honorable Wright Patman, Congressman from the
First' Congressional District, has been highly instrumental and haa
exerted considerable time and effort, together xith his influerice on
the Congress of the United States, and noW has such projects properly
set up for development; NOW, THERII+'ORE,
BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY COUriCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
City of Paris does hereby express its sincere appreciation to the
Honorable Wright Patman for his successful and untiring efforts in getting
the above projects undervay and carrying them fonJard in the interests of
the entire trade territory in and around the City of Parist Texa.s.
