710 RES ENGINEERING FIRM OF FORREST AND COTTON CALLED ATTENTION TO CITY COUNCIL CONTRACT BETWEEN STIMSON CONTRACTING CO AND COP0 •
RESOLUTION N0. 710 0
WHEREAS, the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton has called to
the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that on Project No.
803-3-57 of the contract between Stimson Contracting Company and the Ci.ty
of Paris, "Paragraph 2.12, under General Conditions of Agreement of the
Specifications for construction of Additions to YVater Distribution Syst:em",
that it will be necessary to make certain changes in the original contr.act
with reference to the encasement of some of the pipe to be laid in saicl
contract, because of certain requiremerrts of the State Highway DepartmE:nt,
where such line crosses the State Highway; and,
YVHEREAS, the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton has present:ed
Change Order No. 1 of Project No. 803-3-57; and
WHEREAS, the same has been agreed to by the contractor and re-
commended by the Engineers; NOW, THEREF~iRE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY QOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Change
Order No. 1 be, and the same is hereby authorized, and the City Manager of
the City of Paris is hereby authorized and directed to enter into such
Change Order for and on behalf of the City of Paris, Texas.
