WI-iEREAS, the City of Paris has recently purchased a lot located at
the intersection of the South Boundary Line of East Kaufman Street and the
VJest Boundary Line of South Church Street, to be used for municipal pur-
poses; and,
WHEREAS, there is now located upon said lot a building which is not
usable or suitable for the purposes for which the lot is to be used by the
City of Paris; and,
VYHEREAS, the City Manager has brought to the attention of the
Council that it is necessary to have the building removed from the lot and
has requested the Council for permission to advertise for bids for the re-
moval of the building and/or structures now located on said lot; and,

structures; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOL'VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
City Manager, Albert K. Steinheimer, be, and he is hereby directed to ad-
vertise for bids for the removal of said building or structures; said bids
to be received by the City Council at 7:00 o'clock P. M., at the City I-iall
of the City o'L Paris, Texas, on the 8th day of July, A. D., 1957.
