RESOLUTION N0. 703 .
WHEREAS9 Dr. William C. Ragan has served many years on the Traf:Eic
Commission of the City of Paris, Texas; and,
4VHEREAS, he has recently been elected on the City Council of the
City of Paris, and presented his resignation as a member of the Traffic
Commission because of his inability to hold the two positions; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
that there is to be a vacancy on the Traffic Commission; and,
WHEREAS, a majority of the members of the Traffic Commission has

Paris has appointed the said
~ as a member of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris; NOW,cTHEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY ODUNCIL 0 F THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
City Council of the City of Paris acceptsthe resignation of Dr. William C.
Ragan and expresses to him their appreciation for his faithful service
during the years he served on such Traffic Commission, and although the
City Council of thc City of Paris regrets to see him leave the service of
the City of Paris in that capacity they are delighted and highly pleased
that he will be able to serve the City Council of the City of Paris as a
member thereof, in a fuller and wider capacity than in the services here-
tofore rendered by him.
