701 RES CITY COUNCIL ADVERTISED FOR BIDS• •
RESOLUTION N0. 701 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore
advertised for bids on Item 1 of Project No. 802-4-57 according to plans
and specifications prepared by Forrest and Cotton, and being that portion
of such Item 1 applying to the roofing and flashing of the Water Treatment
Plant; and,
WHEREAS, upon receipt of bids therefor, the bids being incomple7te
at the time of their receipt, the City Manager of the City of Paris was
authorized and directed to procure the bid of L. T. Weehunt in its proper
form and to have executed the proper agreement and performance bond; and,
WHEREAS, such performance bond and contract, together with the
completed bid, provide for the completion of such work for the sum of
$1,300.00; and,
WHEREaS, the bid of L. T. Weehunt is the lowest and best bid re--
ceived by the Council for such project; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY QJUNCIL CF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
bid, contract, and performance bond of L. T. Vdeehunt be, and the same is
hereby, in all things, ratified and approved, and the City Manager of the
City of Paris is hereby directed to proceed with the completion of such
project.
