695 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THERE IS DUE AND OWING FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES• •
RESOLUTION N0. 695 .
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Cauncil of
the City of Paris that there is now due and owing for the year 1951 personal
property taxes in the amount of $19025.57 and automobile taxes in the amourit
property 1952;,and,37
of $10,936.18; and al personal
and automobile taxes in
WHEREAS, all of said taxes for the years 1951 and 1'?52 are more than
four years old; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been advised that
the Statutes of fhe State fTexas ptaxeseafter thesexpirationbofbfourhyears
the collection o personal Property
from the due date of said taxes; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OJUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
Auditing Firm of McClanahan and Company, the annual auditors for the City of
Paris, be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to charge off the
said personal taxes and automobile taxes for the years 1951 and 1952 and
make the necessary adjustments in their audit and records.
