RESOLtTTION A10.
WHEBEAS, there exi.sts avacancy of the Chairman of
the Executive Committee of the City-County Civil Defensa
and Disaster Commission; and,
WHEREAS, 8ev. ftobert S. Richardson, dimmy Guthrie,
and Col. James M. Caviness were appointed by the City
Council on Noeember 14, 1955 to serve as members of the
Executive Committee of said Commission, aad whose terms
will expire on November 14, 1956; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the City
Couacil of the City of Paris that J. D. McLaughlin be
appointed to serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee
of the City-Countp Civil Defense and Disaster Commission
for a term of two (2) years, and that said Rev. Robert S.
Richardson, Jimmy Guthrie, and Col. James M. Caviness be
appointed to serve as members of such Executive Committee
for a term of two (2) years; NOW, THEREFOftE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
That J. D. MeLaughlin be, and he is herebp appointed
to serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the City-
County Civil Defense and Disaster Commission for a term of
two (2) pears from this date, and that the Rev. 8obert S.
Richardson, Jimmy Guthrie, and Col. dames M. Caviness be,
and they are hereby appointed to serve as members of said
Executive Committee for a term of two (2) pears, beginning
November 14, 1956,
Passed and adopted bq the Citp Council of the City
of Paris in regular session convened on this 12th dap of
November, A. D., 1956.
