642 RES INTERESTED PROPERTY OWNERS FILED WITH CITY COUNCIL OF PETITION SEEKING AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORD0 •

WHEFtEAS, intexested property owners have heretofore filed with the
City Council of the City of Paris petition seeking an aznencinent to the
Zoning Ordinance of the City, to change from a"Residential District" to a
"Commercial District" the zoning designation and classification of a c:er-
tain tract or parcel of land between 4th and 7th Streets on Bonham Street
and on Grand Avenue at the intersection of 7th Street and Grand Avenue,
which propexti es are fully described in the petition; and,
WHEREAS, the said petition has been referred to the Planning ex
Zoning Commission; and,
and,
WHF,REAS, same has been heard by the Planning & Zoning Commission;
WFEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has made its recomnenda-
tion that the petition be denied, and that the properties renain as a
"Residential District", NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
petition be, and the same is hereby, in all things, denied, and that the
properties involved in said petition renain under the zoning designation
of a "Residential Dfstrict".
