1. That wtiereas, The City of Paris, Texas, did on the 14th day oi
r'ebruary, ti. D., 1955 enter into an oil, gas and ;nineral lease with Albert
d+ooley, Lessee, covering 301.58 acres of land at Cox Field, whic'ri lease is
recoraed iri Volume 344, Fage 131, of the t7eed Records of Lamar County,
Texas, and that said lease witn all the rights thereunder were assigned
by Albert 'iuooley to Dilworth S. Hager by assignment dat2d April 4, 19b-5
and of record in Volume 344~ Fage 160 oi the Deed Records of Lamar County,
Texas.
2. And vahereas, said lease provides, among other things, that it
is suaject to all la-vJS, rules and other regulations or the Civil 4eror.autics
f;d:ninistration.
3. Tnat the said Civil Aeronautics AdministrGtion has requested
that raragraphs 13 and 14 of said lease be amended to comply with the re-
auirements of said r-'ivil tieronautics Administration.
4. And wnereas, an agreement has aeen prepared and signed by
Dilworth S. Hayer and ready to be executed vy Ttle City of Paris, Texas,
makiriy such amendrnents as suggested by said Civil Aeronautics Adininistration,
wriich is dated Auyust 31, 19~516.
b. That all revenue and/or revenues derived from the lease by the
City of Paris be depcsited in the Ccx Field Special Account, and to ae used
only for the operatiion, maintenance, improvement, or development of Cor.
Field as a public airport..
6. Tha i. the Mlayor be, and ne is ;ereby authcrized anci directed to
execute said amendments in benalf of the City of Faris, and the City Clerk
shall attesi the same.
