604 RES VACANCIES EXIST ON EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF CITY-COUNTY CIVIL DEFENSE AND DISASTER COMM

RESOLUTION IVD. 604_WHEREAS, the following vacancies exist on the Executive Committee of the City-County Civil Defense and Disaster Commission, as established by the provisions of Ordinance No. 1309, to-wit; The chairman and three members of the Comnission, being the vacancies created by the resignation of Paul Daniels, Chairman,and Members Clarence E. Saint, Donald Smith and Fred Skelton; and, 1NHEREAS, the remaining members of the Executive Committee have recommended to the City Council that Col. F. H. Chetlain be appointed by the City Council to serve as Chairman of such Executive Committee for a term of one (1) year, and that Rev. Robert S. Richardson, Jimmy Guthrie and Col. Jim Caviness be appointed to serva as Members of such Executive Committee for a term of one (1) year; and, WHERE/+S, the said Executive Committee has recomnended that the remaining members of said Committee, W. E. Johnson, Leland Smith;, J. T. Hodges and 3ack Wooldridge, be re-appointed as members of said Executive Comni.ttee to serve for an additional term of two (2) years. NOW9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESULVED BY THE CITY CAUNCiL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Col. F. H. Chetlain be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the City-County Civil Defense and Disaster Commission for a term of one (1) year from. this date; that Rev. Robert S. Richardson, Jimy Guthrie and Col. Jim Caviness be appointed to serve as Members of said Executive Committee for a term of one (1) year from date, and that W. E. Johnson, Leland Smith, J. T. Hodges and Jack Wooldridge be re-appointed as Meaibers of said Executive Committee to serve for a term of two (2) years from this date.
