. + BESOLUTION No. 591 . WHEREAS, E. G. Lowry Company, construction contractors for S. H. Kress & Company, are presently engaged in the remodeling and reconstruction of property and premises for occupancy by the said S. H. Kress & Company, located at the South West corner of the intersection of Lamar Avenue and lst S. E. Street; anci, WHEREAS, the orderly and safe completion of such remodeling and reconstruction requires and dictates the enclosure by said con- tractor of the sidewalk extending along the East side of said building and the West side of such portion of lst Street S. E., and the prohibiting of pedestrian traffic along such portion of the West side of said lst S. If. Street: NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the said E. G. Lowry Company, contractors, be, and they are hereby, temporarily authorized for the period of time reasonably required for the completion of the remodeling and re- construction of the S. H. Kress & Company property and premises, Imcated and described above, to enclose that portion of the side- walk along the West side of lst S. E. Street which abuts and adjoins such property and premises, and pedestrian traffic is hereby pro- hibited along such portion of the VJest side of lst S. E.
