1. That an election be held by the qualified voters of the
City of Paris on the first Tuesday in April, 1955, same being the 5th
day oF April, 1955, between the houTS of 8;00 o'clock A. Pt. and 7;00
o'clock p. p,;., for the purpase of electing members of the City Council
of the City of paris as follows;
Three (3) Councilmen at Large,
as provided in and by Section l69 Article III, and in accordance with
Article IX cf the City Charter of the City of %aris, adopted Piovember
29 1948, such Councilmen at Large to serve for the ensuing two years.

and instructed to post a properly executed Notice of Election pursuant
to this order for election, signed by the p,iayor of the City of Paris,

6. The pay of the judges and clerks of said elec-tinn is nereby
authorized and established as follovjs; $8.00 per day for each judc;e
and clerk; the election judGe who delivers the returns of the said
election i;;unediately aftnr the votes have aeen counted to the proper
office shall be paid an additional sum oi $2.00 for that service, pro-
vided also, he shall maice returns of all election supplies not, used
when he makes returns of such elec±ion.
