Paris on the first Tuesday in April, 1958, same being theIth day of
April, 1958, between the hours of 8s00 A.M. and 7s00 P.M., for the
purpose of aleating memsbers of the City Council of the City of Paris,

Articlo I]C oP the City Charter of the City of paris, adapted November

3. The Presiding Judges of the respective voting boxes shall
designate and appoint such additional, competent and qualiFied clerks
for such respeotive polling plaoes and voting boaes as msy be required,
if any, Por the efficient conduot of said electian.

4. auch eleotion shall be held in aocordsnce with the laws of the
State of Texas gaverning general anct munioipal eleotions, i.nsofar as the
seme me.y be applioable, and with the prosirions of the City Charter and
Ordinanees of the City of Paris.
5. The Chief of Police of the City of Paris is hereby direoted and
inatruated to post a praperly executed Notice of Eledtiori purauant to
this order f'or electicn, signed by the Mayor of the City of Paris, at
each of the polling places designated above, Which said notices of
Sleation shall by him be posted not# less than thirty(30) days prior
to said election; further, a praperly eaeouted copy of euch Notice of
Election shall be pub2ished ane time in the Paris,Nems, the offioial
newapaper of the City of Faris and a newspaper of geaera2 oiraulation in
said aity, which noticse shall be published nat less than twenty (20) days
before said election.
6. The pay of the judges and alerks of said eleaticm is hereby
euthorized and established as follows s$ 00 per day for eaeh
judge and alerk; the election judge who de vers e returns of the
said election immediately after the votes hane been aounted to the
praper office shall be paid an additional sum of $2.00 f'or that aervice,
provided also, he shall make returns of all election supplies nat used
when he makea returns of such election.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris
in regular meeting at the City Hall of said City this ~day of
February, 1958.
