were constructed for and formerly used by the U. S. ~trmy for
training personnel thereof; and

condition and bad repair and it is not a;:vantageous to the
City of Paris or economical to attempt to renovate or repair
same sincd there is no present or foreseeable use Por tilem
and said buiidings and structures do not produce any inaome
or zevenue ; and
S, it is to the advantage and best interest of the
Uity of paris that such buildings and structures be torn down
and the lumber, materials and other portions t'riereoP be sal-
vaged and stored for future uses in imnroving Cox -irfield;

l. That the folloiring buildings and structures at Cox
.=,irfield be torn down and salvaged and that all lumber, ma-
termals and other usable portions and parts tiiereof be stored;

115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, 132, 133, 134,
135, 136, 137, 140, 143, 144, 145, 181, 184, 185, 189, 142,
183, 102, 152 and 153.
2. That all of the luLiber, materials and other usable
parts of such buildings be stored and used on otae. stauctures
at Cox r,%irfield and in maying irnprovernents and addition,s ti_ereto,,

A special meetinQ cf the Planning Com mission was held today.
A report was made re`arding the recent visit of representatives
of the C. A. A. who examined a number of building at Cox Air
Field, most of tiThich are in very bad state of repair.
Motion zvas made and duly seconded that it is the opizziam of
the Planning Coniission that it is very desirable that a munber
of the building referred to above be torn dosm and the lumber
as far as possible be used in making repairs and additions to
other buildings located on the property. This was passed
unanimously and it was requested that the Secretary file a
copy of these minutes, duly certified, with the Paris City
P`ana-aer who in turn vrill be asked to submit same to the City
Council and I:ayor. If approved by them,application should be
sent to the proper parties with the C.A.A. and other Govern-
mental Agencies askin- for permission to carry the recomnendatinn
into egfect.
There being no other bus~.:ess L:le adjourned.
