,~,;here~s, the use of the property of the City of paris
knovln as the Lake Gibbons property for the purpose of fur-
nishing and supplying the inhabitants of the City of Paris
with watar has been digcontigued many years ago, and
zYhereas, all cvater pipes and mains fron said Lake Gib-
bons to the City of Paris hava been taken up and removed
more than twenty years ago and aince such date no water has
been used f ron sAid lake Yor the benefit of the City of
?aris or its inhabitants, and said lake has in fact been
abandoned for more than twenty years as a part of the wrqter
supl;ly and water system of said city: now thereYore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TfiE CITY COUT?CIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS;
1. That the Lake Gibbons property and the lake si,tuated
thereon be and the same is hereby oYficially discontinued as
a pacet of the water supply of the "ity of Paris and as a reser-
voir for the purpose of impounding water Yor said City and
is Pinally and fully abandoned as such.
