BE IT RFSOLVID BY THE CITY COLNCIL OF TF-IE CITY OF FARIS:
1. That the City of Paris lease 566 acres of land at Cox
rield to J. V. Scrivner in accordance with the terms and provisions
and at the consideration stated in a certain oil, gas and mineral
lease of even date llerewit,h bet-xesn said city and the said J. V.
Scrivner~ said lease providing for a primary term of two ~ears.
2. That all lease rentals and other possible ravenues accruing
under said lease from mineral production shall be reserved and used
only for the maintenance., operation and development of Cox Field.
3. That the MaVor be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said lease in behalf of the City of Paris and the City
Clerk shall attest same.
