That, whereas, The uity of Paris and George F. 81eiie1
enterid into a lease agreement dated a;ay 14, 1951, whereby
said City leased to the said George E. Riedel certain t:racts
of Land and buildings at Cox Field as fully described in said
lease agresment for a term of three years beginning on ,June 1,
1951, and ending on May 31, 1954, at a rettal specified in
said lease; and
Whereas, the said George E. Riedel has requested that said
lease agreement be terminated and that he be released from
sll obligations thereunder and has deli7dred posaession of
the leased premises and buildings to said City of raris,
and the City Cougcil is willing to grant the requeet of the
said George E. Riedel and to cancel said lease ageeement;
now, ttierefore.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
l. That said lease agreement dated P,2ay 14, 1951, bdtween
the ~;ity of Paris and George E. Riedel, pursuant to the mutual
agreement of the City Gouncil of said City and George E. Riedel,
be and the same is hereby terminated and caneblled upon. tha
condition that neither partp thereto shall be obligated. or
bound to perform the terms of said lease agreement,, and that
ne it he r party t here to shall haTe any f urt he r liab ility bq
reasan of said agreement.
