M. and 7;00 P. L'f., by thE qualified voters of the City of Parisp Texa.s, for the purpose of electing three councilmen at large, of the City of Paris for the ensuing term of two years. BE IT RESOLVID $Y T'rIE CITY C4UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: l. That an election be held by the qualified voters of the City of Paris on the first Tuesday in April, 1951, same being the 3rd day of April.. 1951, between the hours of 8:00 A. M. and 7:00 P. M., for the purpose of electing members of the City Council of the City of Paris, as folloxs: Three councilmen at large, as provided in Section 16,, Article III and in accordance wi.th Article IR, of the City Charter of the City of Paris adopted on Ploveinber 21 1948, such councilmen at large to serve for the en- suing two yeaxs. 2. That the polling place for said election shall be at the Central Fire Station in the City of Paxis. 3. That the Judges and Clerks of the election shall be as folloxs; Mxs. Hugh Collins,Presidin; Judge Mrs. J. M. Cross, Judge Mrs. Gait.her Rodgers, Judge Mrs. R. C. Bearden, Judge Mrs. L. B. Killebrew, Judge J. A. Lillard, Clerk Edrs. E. H. Cornray, Clerk Mrs. W. E. Deaient, Clerk Mxs. R. C. Record, Clerk 4. The Mayor of the City of Paris is hereby instructed and 3irected to give notice of sa:i.d election by posting notice thereof at the above mentioned place, auch notice to be posted not less than 30 days b~for@ the date of said election, and by publishing a si.milar notice in the Paris Nears, the official newspaper of the City of Paris and a newspaper of genera3 circulation within said city which said notice shall be published ior one time not Iater than 30 days before the date of said election. 5. Such election shall be held in accordance with the laws oi the 5tate of Texas governing general and municipal elections, in so fax as may be applicable, and with the -arovisions of the City Charter of the City of Paris.
