ESCROM RESOWTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Paris, Texaa, that the
sum of $5,568.00, or aa much more as may be needed, available from ths funds
of Said City is hereby approved and aet aside, and will be placed in eacrow
in the Liberty National Bank of Paris ,
Texas, apecialiy or regular /asignated depository for said City to be used
exclusively in parment of the City's shara of the cost of work to be perfora+ed
on that portion of State Highway No. 24, located on South Church Street between
the P. b M.P. Railroad and EvergreenStreet In the Citr of Paris and on which

authorization for construction was mede br the Texas Highway Gcmmission by ita
Minute No. 22,028. Based upon the estimated quantities of work to be performed
and unit contract prices, the estimated cost of this work is $5,568.00.
BE IT FURTNER RESOLYED that the sum of $5,568.00 be and ia hereby appropriated,
set aaide and placad in eacro►v and to be expanded exclusively for reimburaing
the Texaa Highway Department for the constraction of the Citr'a portion of the
Proposed Improvement. Vouchers are to be submitted to the City of Paris by the
Texas Highway Department covering rrork done and checks or warranta shall be
issued in parment thereof and made payable to the State Treasurer, credit State
Highway Fund and sent to the Texas Highway Department. In the event the actual
cost of the improvement based on actual completed quantitiea and contract unit
prices exceeds thia amount, the City of Paris ►vill suppiement this amount with an '
amount to cover the difference between the estimated cost and the actual cost.
The said eacrow funds are to be paid by the Depository only upon written authority
by the State Highway Engi-neer of Texas ar his authorized repreaentative.

In the event the actual cost of the improvement does not exceed the amount
placed in escro►v and ail of the above escrowed funda are not patd to the Texas
Hiqhway Department, then any balance remaining in the escroMed funds vrili, with
±he writter, authority of the State yignway Engineer or his authorized agent,
be released to the City of Paris.
