It being considered that the City of Paria is desirous of electric service
for the City Baseball Park and for the City of Paria to receive auch service it
is necessary for the City oY Paria to grant an easement to the Texae Power & Light
Compar~y to erect a distribution line across land belonging to the City of Paris.
Be it resalved that the iv:ayor of Paris is hereby authorized to execute an
easement to the Tezas Power & I,ight Company to erect and maintain an electric
diatribution line and all neceasary appurtenancea thereto oQer and across land
belonging to tkie City of Parie, same being the City Recreation Park and Fair Grounds
in the Reddirg Ruasell Survey north oP Paria in Lamar County, Texes.
It being rieceasary that the said compar~y erect such line at the earliest
posaible time in order to serve the City of Paris desiring electric aervice creates
a public neceasity and emergency requiring the charter provisiona provid ing that
reeolutions be not passed on the day introduced to be suapended, such charter
provision is hereby suspended and thia resolution shall becoma effective from and
after its passage.

construction of the electric transmission and/or distribution line hereinafter described, have granted, sold and conveyed and
by these presents do grant, sell and convey unto Texas Power & Light Company an easement and right-of-way for an
electric transmission and/or distribution line, consisting of variable numbers of wires, and all necessary or desirable appurte-
nances (including poles made of wood, metal or other materials, telephone and telegraph wires, props and guys), at or near
the location and along the general course now located and staked out by the said Company, over, across and upon the following
described lands located in L~'!~~...................................County, Texas, to-wit:
Being a description of the 'T'exas Power & Light Company•s Paria distribution exten-
sion, Project D-33, to serve the City Baseball Park as now surveyed and located across
the land of the City of Paris out of the Redding Russell Survey,
Lamar County, Texas.
Beginning at a point in a property line running easterly and westerly dividing the
property of the Cit;y of Paria and the north rfght-of-way line of Hickory Street. Said
point being 575 feet, more or leas, in a westerly direction fro!n the aoutheast corner of
the City Pary:
Thence in a northerly direction for a distance oY 50 feet, more or leas, to a Texas
Power & Light Compan,y's distribution pole. Thence in the same northerly direction Por a
distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a City of Paris distribution pole.
Not more than poles........................ 0...................... stubs, and........................ guys, shall be
erected along the course of said line.
Together with the right of ingress and egress over my (our) adjacent lands to or from said right-of-way for the purpose of
constructing, reconstructing, inspecting, patrolling, hanging new wires on, maintaining and removing said lines and appur-
tenances; the righi to re-locate the lines in the same relative position to the adjacent road if and as widened in the future; and
the right to remove from said land all trees and parts thereof, or other obstructions, which endanger or may interfere witb
the efficiency of said lines or their appurtenances.
TO HAVE 9ND TO HOLD the above described easement and rights unto the said Company, its successors and as-
signs, until said line shall be abandoned.
And I(ae) do hereby bind myself (ourselves), my (our) heirs and legal representatives, to warrant and forever defend
all and singular the above described easement and rights unto the said Company, its successors and assigns, against every person
whomsoever ]awfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
