ADVERTISEB~EEN'T FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be receiaed by the City of Paris at the office
*f J. W. Barne s, Mayor, uartil 5:00 0' clock P.M. , Central Standard Time,
March 21st, 1946, for the construction of a Swimming Pool, at which time
and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read alaud.

Copies of the plans, speciffcations and other proposed contract
documents are on file in the office of J. W. Barnes, Mayor of the Citg
of Paris, Texas, at the City Hall, Paris, Texas, and in the office of
W. F. Hicks, Eng:i.neer., Paris, Texas., and are open for public inspection.
Plans and specifications may be exam;ned without charge in the abave
named offices and may be procured from W. F. Hicks upon a deposit of
$15.00 as a guarantee of the safe return of the plans and specifications.
Additional sets of plans and specifications ma.y be procured from the above
upon a deposit of $15.00 each, as a guarantee of their safe return within
ten (10) days from date of opening bids, in which event $$.00 of the
deposit will be returned. ,
The charactsr and ampunt of security to be furnished by each bidder
are stated in the above mentioned docum~ents.
' - No bid may be withdrawn, a,fter the scheduled closirig time for receipt
of bids, for at least thirty (30) days.
The City of Paris reserves the right to reject any or aIl bids and
to waive informalities.
