C. Airport Advisory Board. (September 18, 2001)
Public hearing to consider levying assessments on benefitted property for a
portion of the cost of the expansion of the sanitary sewer line extension for
the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and
certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird
Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle, thence
southerly to tie into the existing City collection system.
11. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
Levying assessments on benefitted property for a portion of the cost of
the expansion of the sanitary sewer line extension for the Cope.
Addition, Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain

tracts in the E. Crow Survey along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird
Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle,
and authorizing the City Manager to proceed with the project.
Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, by
adding a new Section 6-34 to Article II of Chapter 6 thereof, providing
for the establishment of T-hangar rental fees at Cox Field Airport.
12. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
Establishing Paris as a City of Character with the International
Association of Character Cities.
Approving and authorizing the execution of the First Amendment to Tax
Abatement Agreement with Lamar Power Partners, LP, formerly Panda
Paris Power, L.P.
Awarding the bid and authorizing the execution of an agreement for the
printing and distribution of utility bills for the Water Billing Office.
Expanding the Airport Advisory Board from seven (7) to nine (9)
members.
E. Appointing members to the Airport Advisory Board.
F. Adopting a Lease Policy and Master Lease for Cox Field Airport.
Approving and authorizing the execution of a Medical Transport
Agreement with Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
Authorizing the City Attorney to procure easements for the sanitary
sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates Addition,
Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along
Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road,
Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle.
Declaring a 0.0281 acre tract of land located at 27th Street N.E. and
Hickory to be surplus, and authorizing the sale of said property and
accompanying deed without warrantyto Brad Shelton, dba Paris Suzuki
Kawasaki, in accordance with state law and at fair market value.
Approving and authorizing a Letter of Consent by and between the City.

the siting of a ground water monitoring well in the right-of-way (former
Kiamichi Railroad easement) located in the 1100 Block of N. Main
Street.
Approving and authorizing an interlocal contract pursuant to Chapter
791 of the Texas Government Code by and between the City and the
County of Lamar for repair of a portion of Old Brookston Road.
Setting a second public hearing on levying assessments on benefitted
property for a portion of the cost of the expanded scope of the sanitary
sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates Addition,
Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along
Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road,
Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle.
Directing the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications and
authorizing the advertisement for bids for the repair of the Gateway
Project entry sign at the south entrance to Paris.
Consideration of and action by motion on suggested speed limits to be
included in a draft ordinance to be forwarded to TxDOT for FM 137.
Consideration of and action by motion on suggested speed limits to be
