<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PROCUREMENT OF EASEMENTS
<br />FOR THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
<br />IMPROVEMENTS TO PROVIDE SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO
<br />PROPERTIES AND PROPERTY OWNERS LOCATED IN SUBDIVISIONS
<br />GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE COPE ADDITION, SUBURBAN
<br />ESTATES ADDITION, GOLDEN ACRE ADDITION, AND CERTAIN
<br />TRACTS IN THE E. CROW SURVEY, ALONG MEADOWLARK STREET,
<br />MOCKINGBIRD STREET, COPE STREET, PINE MILL ROAD, THOMAS
<br />DRIVE, AND WELCH CIRCLE; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
<br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a project of
<br />construction for the expansion of sanitary sewer improvements to provide sanitary sewer service
<br />to properties and property owners located in subdivisions generally described as the Cope
<br />Addition, Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow
<br />Survey, along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas
<br />Drive, and Welch Circle, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City
<br />Engineer of the City of Paris; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary for the completion of said sanitary
<br />sewer project are shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above-described utility easements are
<br />necessary for said improvement project and that the same should be acquired by condemnation
<br />or otherwise; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the City Attorney, Larry W. Schenk, be, and he is hereby, authorized and
<br />directed to proceed to acquire by condemnation or otherwise the property described in Exhibit
<br />A, attached hereto, to be used for the extension of sanitary sewer improvements to provide
<br />sanitary sewer service to properties and property owners located in subdivisions generally
<br />described as the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain
<br />tracts in the E. Crow Survey, along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine
<br />Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle.

<br />Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
