AN ORDINANCE CLOSING SIXTH STREET N.E. WITHIN THE
FAIRGROUNDS BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET NORTH OF THE
NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF HICKORY STREET NORTH TO A POINT 600
FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF CLEMENT ROAD AND
EAST CENTER STREET FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 6th N.E.,
WE�T 250 FEET; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID STREET
FOR CITY USE OTHER THAN FOR A UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH IS
EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY THE CITY OF PARIS: AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1988.
WHEREAS, it has been brought

easement purposes, and the City Council so finds; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the streets, beginning approximately
described in Exhibit A attached hereto, are hereby closed,
with the City of Paris retaining a utility easement.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
December 1, 1988.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of November, 1988.
