MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD

1. Present Board Members:

2. Discussion of the streetscape project-Maria Pope reported on the
streetscape project and discussed updates provided by Hayter
Engineering. Maria Pope reported that the Texas Historical
Commission recommends that the sidewalk solar panels be either
replaced or restored for the streetscape project. The board
agreed, and further noted that the brick sidewalk adjacent to
Hibernia National Bank was a hazard and will recommend it be
replaced.
3. Discussion of city wide Easter egg hunt at Bywaters Park
Maria Pope reported that the City will host a city wide Easter
egg hunt in the Historic District at Bywaters Park with the
assistance of local radio stations. The date was set for Saturday,
March 30th, at Bywaters Park.
4. Discussion of committees- Maria Pope recommended that the
board begin considering individuals for various committees. Bill
Payne recommended that we wait for the CDC to further develop
before confirming committees. The board agreed, and the issue
was placed on hold.
