SUBJECT: BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION VACANCY

BACKGROLJND: On November 26, 2012 Ryan Lassiter resigned from the Building and
Standards Commission leaving the Board short one member. Mr. Lassiter's term expires June,
30, 2013.
STATUS OF ISSUE: In order to comply with the Board policies, I am asking Council to appoint
Mr. Randy Roam to fill the unexpired term of Ryan Lassiter. Mr. Roam is the only applicant we
have that requested to serve on the Buildings and Standards Commission.
BUDGET:
RECOMMENDATION: Make a motion to appoint Randy Roam to the position vacated by
Ryan Lassiter on the Building and Standards Commission.
