SUBJECT: MAY BOND ELECTION
DATE: February 19, 2013
BACKGROLTND: As you know, the council called a special election for Saturday, May 11,
2013, and many people are working on various aspects of that election, including staff,
consultants, and private citizens.
STATUS OF ISSUE: In order to discuss this very important upcoming activity publicly and as a
group whenever necessary, and to address any issues or concerns that might arise related to the
election or the bonds themselves, the mayor has asked us to place this item on the agenda.
BUDGET: NA.
RECOMMENDATION: Discussion only.
