A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office of Bill Davidson and Tommy Gantt, as alternate members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2001; and, WHEREAS, there exists an additional vacancy on the membership of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris due to the death of F. D. Mallory, and it is necessary to appoint his successor; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the (re)appointment of and the appointment of for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2003, and the appointment of to serve the unexpired term of F. D. Mallory, which ends December 31, 2002; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That be, and (he/she/they) is hereby, reappointed, [and that be, and (he/she/they) (is/are) hereby, appointed] to serve as alternate members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2003. Section 3. That be, and (he/she) is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term of F. D. Mallory, which ends December 31, 2002, as a member of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris.
