(1) Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
(a) Reducing the Airport Advisory Board from nine (9) to
seven (7) members and providing for stag gered two (2)
year terms.
(b) Appointing members to the Airport Advisory Board.
4. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
A. Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, by
repealing Sec. 11-44, eliminating the requirement for a bond by
applicants for electrical contractors' licenses, revisin g Sec. 11-91,

adopting the National Electrical Code, 2002 Edition, and repealing Sec.
11-92.
THIS ITEM WAS TABLED AT THE NOVE MBER 11, 2002, REGULAR
MEETING. SHOULD THE CITY COUNCIL WISH TO CONSIDER THIS
MATTER TODAY, A MOTION TO BRING THIS ITEM FROM THE TABLE
IS REQUIRED.
B. Amending Sections 6-4, 6-5, and 6-6 of Article I and Sections 6-22 and
6-28 of Article II of Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, to repeal outdated provisions related to
requirements for an Airport Security Division and a Joint Airport Zoning
Board and to omit certain requirements incident to the issuance of
permits associated with engaging in aeronautical activity at Cox Field
Airport.
5. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Appro ving and authorizing a grant application to the Office of the
Go vernor, Criminal Justice Division, through the Ark-Tex Council of
Governments, for a Violence Against Women Act Grant.
B. Approving and auth orizing the execution of the Mutual Cooperation
Agreement on Extraterritorial Jurisdict ion related to a County-Wide Sex
Of f ender Management & Compliance Task Force between the City of
Paris, the City of Reno, and the County of Lamar.
C. Approving plans and specifications for the construction of the related
water lines for the elevated water storage tank - Bonham Street and
authorizing the advertisement for bids for said construction.
D. Awarding the bid for the demolition and construction of curb and
gutter, standard drivew ay approaches, and reinforced concrete
sidewalks for the Street Division of the Public Works Department.
E. Awarding the bid for furnishing and delivery of unleaded gasoline and
diesel fuel for use by various departments of the City of Paris.
F. Approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order Number One
& Final to the contract with Hanson & Associates for the Santa Fe-
Frisco Depot Project.

G. Approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order Number One
& Final to Contract 1 with American Restoration for the Santa Fe-Frisco
Depot Project.
H. Approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order Number One
& Final to Contract 2 with American Restoration for the Santa Fe-Frisco
Depot Project.
I. Approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order Number One
& Final to Contract 3 with American Restoration for the Santa Fe-Frisco
Depot Project.
J. Approving and aut horizing the execution of Change Orders Numbers
One & Two & Final to Contract 5 with Phoenix I Restora tion and
Construction for the Santa Fe-Frisco Depot Project.
K. Authorizing the advertisement for bids for City depository services for
the period beginning March 1, 2003 and ending February 28, 2005.
L. Awarding the bid for the lease of 170 acres of Lake Gibbons property
for hay crop.
M. Awarding the bid, approving the form of the Lease, and authorizing the
execution of a Pasture Lease Agreement for approximately 185 acres
of Lake Gibbons property.
N. Authorizing the execution of a purchase order for four (4) Model Year
2003 Police Package Chevrolet Impalas for use in the Patrol Division of
the Paris Police Department and two (2) Model Year 2003 N on-police
package Ch e vrolet Impalas for use in the Criminal Investigations
Division of the Paris Police Department through the H ouston-Galveston
Area Council of Governments.
O. Authorizing the advertisement for bids for one (1) Model Year 2003 4-
wheel drive extend-a- hoe loader for use in the Street Division of the
Public Works Department.
P. Appointing a member to the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve
the unexpired term of Eddie Vincent which ends June 30, 2003.
