RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, (RE)APPOINTING , ., ., AND
AS MEMBERS OF THE PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF
HEALTH; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO
THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Byron Muse, Dr. Caroline Wilson, Dr. Ed Clark, and Dr.
Gordon B. Strom, Jr., as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health, will expire on
December 31, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, with the advice of the County Judge of Lamar
County, Texas, does hereby recommend the (re)appointment(s) of, ., , and
., for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2003, and ending December 31, 2004;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That , , , and be, and they are hereby,
(re)appointed to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for terms of two (2)
years, beginning January 1, 2003, and ending December 31, 2004.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
