RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF NECESSARY
PROPERTY FOR THE STILLHOUSE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
FROM CLEMENT ROAD TO LOOP 286 N.E.; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a project of
construction entitled Stillhouse Road Improvements from Clement Road to Loop 286 N.E. in
accordance with the Alignment Study prepared by Hayter Engineering; and,
WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary for the completion of said street
improvement project are shown on Exhibit A attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above-described utility easements are
necessary for said improvement project and that the same should be obtained by condemnation
or otherwise; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the City Attorney, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
proceed to condemn the above-described property to be used for the Stillhouse Road
Improvements from Clement Road to N.E. Loop 286.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
