RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Barbara Forrest, Cleveland L. Thomas, and Russell
McCain, as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, will expire
on June 30, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments
of Barbara Forrest, Cleveland L. Thomas, and Russell McCain for terms of three (3) years,
beginning July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2006; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS.
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Barbara Forrest, Cleveland L. Thomas, and Russell McCain be, and they
are hereby, reappointed, to serve as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2006.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June, 2003.
